Biography
SLRS011 Solarstones debut release ‘The Calling’, a mixture of lush atmospherics and breakbeats; on its release it was claimed by many to be ‘ahead of its time, a blueprint for others’, still sounding fresh today the track still graces the sets of DJ’s the world over.
With the warm welcome ‘Anthology One’ received we felt it was only fair to re-release this classic with a slew of remixes – coincidentally a decade on from the original release.
Orkidea delivers a sublime mix, featuring a rolling groove and shimmering melodies. The mix is already gaining strong support from Armin, featuring on his ASOT radio show over the last three months. Support also comes from DJ Tiësto, Markus Schulz & PVD.
On the flip is Jonas Steurs mix. Melodic layers meet tribal-tinged drums– I’m sure you’ll agree it’s a bit tasty.
Last but not least, Beatseekers provide their take in the form of an anjuna-esque peak time affair - emotive trance for one of those 5am moments.
