Vadim Zhukov is one of the leading Russian trance producers, with countless classy releases on labels like Captivating, Armada and Black Hole. This release consists of two totally different tunes, but one wicked package of modern edm. 'I Was, I Am' is a neat, melodic and distinctly Russian sounding trance record with Vadims signature production values stamped all over it. The Jahawi remix however slows the pace down in a smooth balearic fashion, turning the track into a proper deep trance journey. 'Wake Up' on the other hand fuses tech and progressive house sounds into a dark and twisted club record.
